The Shoppe Skateshop.com was founded in November of 2006 in the town of Moneta VA, on Beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. Moneta is a small rural area near Roanoke VA, with at the time, tons of Skaters, and no REAL skateshop for miles in each direction.

Being Owned and Operated by skateboarders, developed strong morals about how a true local driven shop should be managed and operated. In the past 3 years we have experienced great support from our local skateboards, as well as many others who drive many miles to experience the feel and selection of a true skateshop.

So now here we are, Three years into changing the face of skateboarding in VA, and we would like to spread our mission to everyone who wants to take part:

"Keep Skateboarding Affordable and RAD"  

We hope to offer something for everyone, and as we grow, so will our drive to keep pushing toward a better future for skateboarding.
